Krynitsa ("spring" in Belarusian) is a closed website for one specific family that keeps the family history and everyday conversation in one place. It has an interactive family tree, relative cards with photos, places of life and burial, a family map, a shared chat and private chats, an archive of photos, videos, voices and documents, plus stories and a timeline. Access is by administrator invitation only; there is no open sign-up. It runs on the owner's own server rather than on third-party clouds. It is built around one family's real needs: year-only dates, cards for deceased relatives without accounts, and five interface languages.
